Paycor Design System

I inherited a disjointed design system that had many inconsistencies between designed and developed components. I spearheaded greater collaboration and worked closely with development to ensure that the design system wasn’t just a tool for designers.

I provided the UX approval perspective on suggested enhancements to existing components, as well as led larger discussions with the product design team to align decisions.

I led discussions around color usage, fonts, disabled buttons, a time quantity input, dashboards, icons, etc.

I made updates to our Storybook documentation as needed and submitted documentation pull requests.
